I came across these American series and decided to give it a go. It's all set in a nice place in some tropical island and goes around a couple of guys that get involved in some sort of fight between members of a magical cult called curiously "tresum".
The synopys:
"In the nineteenth century, Ambrosius Vallin, a gay man out for revenge against a coven of witches called the "Tresum", woos the witch Grace, hoping that by marrying her he can learn the coven's power and use it against them. On their wedding night, Grace finds Vallin en flagrante with their butler, kills the butler and imprisons Vallin himself in the dungeon beneath her home, keeping him trapped in the body of an old man, never to be released or have a
proper death until he can obtain the love of a young man. In the modern day, Grace's former home is now an apartment complex. Toby and his new boyfriend, Kevin, find themselves being used as pawns in a deadly game of revenge between Ambrosius and Grace."
I've now watched the whole first series and it's nice to see gay-themed series and everyone in it is very handsome and has a great body. It also contains some fairly explicit sexual scenes (not porn!), which is a lot more you'd normally see anywhere. All this would be great ingredients for the series, but where it's not quite up to expectations is in the acting, they just look good and they'd be OK in pictures but they need a lot more training before they can throw some credibility in.
Anyway, I'm looking forward to see series two - which isn't easy since it's on on TV here in the UK...
